Some of us may not have been blessed with full lips or their lips may appear asymmetrical or uneven. A more defined lip line or fuller lips can be achieved using hyaluronic acid based filler. Lip fillers can also be known as lip enhancement, lip injections or lip augmentation but not to be confused with Anti-wrinkles/Botox. Here at Facetime Aesthetics I use Juvederm products which are not only effective but safe . This is important as there are many other types of Filler available on the market but few that are FDA and CE approved. Giving superior natural results.

Checklist before Lip Fillers.

  • Do be honest about your medical history. In particular any previous facial surgery as this may alter the anatomy under the skin.
  • Do let me know of any medications you are taking as some may effect the way the treatment works.
  • Do advise us of any current illness or long term conditions you have.

  • Do listen to practitioners explanation of possible risks, side effects and complications.
  • Do let us know of any questions you need answered before procedure.
  • Do not schedule treatment when you have an important event or holiday planned within 4 weeks.

Lip Fillers works by adding volume to the skin. Hyaluronic acid is placed in tiny amounts directly into the lip or lip lipline. Instantly creating volume and fullness. Hyaluronic acid is hydophyllic which means it can absorb water. So the more hydrated you are the more hydrated your lips are!

Researching  filler prices can be confusing. Sometimes the “cheapest is not always the best option”

€300 of 1ml.

Results can vary from person to person but fillers can last up to 6-9 months. The Filler is gradually broken down by the body and your lips will return to their previous appearance.

Unlike the common perception that fillers will be instantly noticeable, fillers are more commonly used to enhance or for very subtle changes. My goal is to replace lost volume or correct shape and definition not create a completely different look or the dreaded “duck lips”.

It should be noted that there may be 24 – 48 hr recovery time. This is completely individual as some may have minimal recovery. Do expect some swelling and +/- bruising. This is a procedure using a needle so this is normal. Again some people bruise more easily than others so it is imperative that you book this treatment well in advance of important events etc. After care leaflets will be provided with instructions to make recovery as quick as possible.

At Facetime Aesthetics I apply a numbing cr to ensure the treatment is as comfortable as possible. Also the products used contain a local anaesthetic to minimise discomfort.

It is advised that you avoid alcohol, aspirin, blood thinners, ibuprofen, Vit E as these may encourage bleeding. If this is an issue please contact me prior to treatment and I can advise going forward.

Don’t book a filler treatment if you are heading away on a plane 24/48hrs post procedure.

Lip Fillers Terms and Conditions

Booking must be made in advance.

Clients must be deemed medically fit and suitable for treatment, following consultation in clinic.

The price per area treated will depend on the number of mls required and the product used.

Clients may require less or more mls to treat the selected area. If the client requires more than the maximum number of mls to treat selected area additional payment will be required. No refunds or reduction in price will be allowed if a client purchases a package but does not, or cannot safely, use all the product in one appointment.

Cancellation Policy @ Facetime Aesthetics

At Facetime Aesthetics it is required that 48hrs notice is given to cancel or reschedule all appointments. Appointment slots are in high demand and if sufficient notice is not given a further appointment will not be issued.
